Strawberry at Stradey Castle

Stradey Castle is set in a secluded position on the outskirts of Llanelli, West Wales, and enjoys stunning views across the sea to Gower. As such, it offers a highly exclusive venue for wedding receptions for discerning couples seeking a celebration which is unique and tailor-made for them.

'Your property was beautiful and I would highly recommend it to others for their wedding. We were particularly fond of the flexibility and ability to make the day unique with your venue.’

A passion for high quality, locally sourced food and exemplary service.

We at Strawberry Shortcake, will cater for your wedding reception. We will share our passion for high quality, locally sourced food and exemplary service.

Stradey will also suggest a trusted marquee company for you, so that you can have exactly the ambience you want within the space provided on our former grass tennis court adjacent to the terrace.

A unique heritage property of great elegance. When you arrive at Stradey for your wedding reception, you and up to 100 guests will have private use of the grand, formal rooms within our heritage home and the terrace garden which surrounds it, before moving to your chosen marquee closeby in a secluded situation with stunning views across to Gower.

Victoria Baths Wedding

As far as quirky and unique wedding venues go, we're pretty sure this one has just taken the crown. Dressed up with bunting and wildflowers, Manchester's Victoria Baths has never made a bigger splash. (Get it, get it?). And what a place to get married. *swoon*.

Emma and Tim tied the knot in August last year, Emma looking stunning in her vintage inspired dress that just suits the venue perfectly. Give your eyes a little treat and take a flick through the pictures. This one has just shot into our favourites list.

Winery Wedding

Hands up whose dream location would be a beautiful stretch of idyllic landscape with an almost unlimited supply of wine? Yup, thought so. This sun drenched winery wedding is ticking all our boxes, too.

From the chic open backed dress, to lush outdoor seating area - all the details of this wedding are a lesson in how to successfully take your big day outside.

A Touch Of Sparkle

We're loving this beautiful Pembrokeshire wedding of Emily and Tom and all the many ways the couple worked the entirety of their day around their personalities.

From the sparkling elegance of Emily's dress, to the relaxed guests lazing on the grass in the August sunshine ... doesn't this just look like a wedding you'd really like to go to?

Some ideas to pinch: the seating plan made up of photographs of your guests instead of names and repurposed slate used as chalkboard place settings. Beautiful.
