A Wedding Taken To New Heights

Avid hikers Elina and Endjis planned their special day on top of the Half Dome at Yosemite National Park. Boasting incredible views and unbeatable landscapes, the wedding destination sat at the business end of 8.2 mile scramble up 4500 feet of tricky elevation.

With their dress and suit vacuum packed in their backpacks, along with the prerequisite champaign. The wedding officiant would make the climb with them. The only problem? The couple's photographer, friend Brian Rueb, was cripplingly afraid of heights.

His humble tale of overcoming his fears to capture the couple's day in all its stunning glory has lit the internet alight. And you can see why. Brian Rueb has single-handedly taken wedding photography to new heights.
